Good evening! For a long time now I’ve been wanting a blog, and after months of procrastination I have finally created one. Halleluja.

Who am I? Well, first of all my name is David Buresund. I currently study my first semester of Business Economics at Stockholm Business School of Stockholm University. And while I do love business economics enough to study it, one thing that intrigues me just as much, if not more, is software development. So much that I drive a business at the side (together with some friends) that develop a product for the web and mobile. For now, all you need to know is that the company’s name is Standir. I’ll tell you more about it at another occasion.

Why in the world create a blog, you ask? Like every arrogant programmer I crave for recognition when I come up with “brilliant” solutions to problems (which after a couple of months turn out to be not so brilliant), and thusly need a space where I can share these moments of insights with the world. This is that space.

So… programming, huh? Yup. The language I use most extensively is Python, mainly due to its simplicity. Apart from that, I also do some Javascript programming, and at very rare occasions also use Java.

Excited? Well, I certainly am.
